How to Beat Anxiety

Do you find yourself excessively worrying about everything? Maybe even when you know the situation doesn't require it? How often do you have a panic attack? Are you constantly agitated, restless, or irritable? Are you frequently overwhelmed? Despite being fatigued, is it hard to fall asleep or get a good night's rest? Do you find it difficult to concentrate and get things done? Do you avoid social situations because you want to avoid feeling worse?

If so, you may have generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), usually just referred to as anxiety. And that's alright! It is far more common than you think and it is not indicative of your strength, character, abilities, or value. Simply put, it just means that there are a couple parts of your brain that are overstressed and not firing as they should.

The good news is that you don't have to live with those struggles forever. As science and technology have improved and evolved, we've developed incredible new methods for helping those parts of the brain heal so those pathways can respond how they should.

The most effective way of accomplishing this is through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation therapy, often just called TMS therapy. TMS uses focused magnetic pulses to help retrain certain brain regions and pathways so they can learn how to fire properly. And as they adjust and retrain themselves, those symptoms slowly start to disappear.

Imagine life without constant worry. Imagine how much you could accomplish without the never-ending distracting thoughts. What would it be like to wake up each morning refreshed and excited to conquer the day? That's not just some movie-esque ideal. That's what's possible when we help the root cause heal and that's what so many of our patients now report after finishing TMS therapy.
